Wolves Records artist Ben Kidson has released his highly anticipated second single, Heaven.

Heaven marks a significant milestone in Kidson’s musical journey, showcasing his unique artistry and passion for storytelling.

The single, written by Kidson himself, delves deep into the theme of love, loss, and the human experience, touching hearts with its profound sincerity.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind Heaven, Kidson explained: “It was one of the tracks Robert Plant heard before agreeing to make an appearance at my signing to the label, where he gave me a wolves shirt with my name on the back.

“I wrote it on a piano in my garden shed while suffering from long covid, during quite a long spell where I didn’t go out and see friends, I just sat in the cold and wrote and learned to play keys.”

BBC Introducing’s Daniel Pascoe said Heaven “demonstrated Ben is making the best music I’ve heard him make”.
